In short
Notion cannot export to Google Slides. Its export menu offers PDF, HTML, and Markdown and CSV, and its built-in Presentation mode only shows a page full screen inside Notion. To turn a Notion page into Google Slides you export or copy the page, build a .pptx from it, and open that file in Google Slides, which converts PowerPoint files up to 100 MB into native Slides. DocSlide does the middle step: upload the PDF Notion exports, or paste the page as Markdown, and it writes a deck with a title on every slide, your figures as editable text and the supporting detail in speaker notes. Images, embeds and linked pages are not placed on slides.
What you get
Notion to Google Slides, done the document-first way
Starts from the page you already wrote
Upload the PDF Notion exports or paste the page. No template to set up, no automation to maintain, no extension to install.
A deck, not the page cut into pieces
Long sections become one point per slide with a real title, so the room reads a recommendation instead of your working doc.
Speaker notes Notion cannot give you
Notion’s Presentation mode has no speaker notes. Here the detail you wrote moves into the notes under each slide, and they come across into Google Slides.
Native Slides your team can comment on
Open the .pptx from Drive and save it as Google Slides. Every title, bullet and number stays an editable text box you can share and comment on.
How it works
From your document to a finished deck, in four steps
Export or copy the Notion page
Use Export from the ••• menu and choose PDF, or copy the page content. Include the subpages the story depends on.
Upload or paste it here
Drop in the PDF, up to 20 MB, or paste the text. Uploads are deleted once the deck is built.
Read the draft deck
Slides and speaker notes are written together, and each slide sits beside the section of your page it came from.
Open it in Google Slides
Download the .pptx, drag it onto Drive, double click it and choose File, then Save as Google Slides.

Can you convert Notion to Google Slides?
Not inside Notion. Notion’s export help lists three formats for a page: PDF, HTML, and Markdown and CSV. Google Slides is not one of them, and neither is PowerPoint. The Google Drive connector Notion offers works the other way round: it lets Notion AI search and answer from your Docs, Sheets and Slides. It does not create a presentation.
Google Slides has no Notion importer either. What it does accept is a PowerPoint file. Google’s Drive help says presentations up to 100 MB can be converted to Google Slides, and both .ppt and .pptx count. So every working route from Notion to Google Slides has the same shape: get the content out of Notion, turn it into a .pptx, and let Google convert that file into a native Slides deck. The only real choice is who does the middle step and how good the slides are when they come out.
How to convert a Notion page to Google Slides
Open the page in Notion and pick one of two inputs. For a quick job, select the content, copy it and paste it into the text box on this page. For a long page, or one with tables you want read in order, open the ••• menu at the top right, choose Export, pick PDF and upload that file here. DocSlide reads the page, works out the argument and writes the deck: a title slide, one point per slide, numbers as editable text, and the paragraphs that explain them moved into speaker notes.
When the deck is ready, click Open in Google Slides on the finished deck. It walks you through the two steps that matter: download the .pptx, drag it onto Google Drive and double click it. It opens in Google Slides with every title, bullet and figure as a real text box and the speaker notes attached. Choose File, then Save as Google Slides, to keep a native copy your team can comment on and share like any other deck. If you are adding the slides to a presentation that already exists, use File, then Import slides, then Upload in Google Slides and pick the .pptx.
Total time for a 20-page Notion doc is usually a few minutes, most of it spent reading the draft. Compare that with the two hours it takes to rebuild the same page block by block in a blank Slides file.
Which Notion export to use for slides
PDF is the one to upload. It keeps the page in reading order, tables included, and it is a single file. Markdown is the one to paste: a Markdown and CSV export gives you a .md file per page, and you can open it in any text editor, copy it and paste it here with the # headings intact. HTML is the right export only when the comments on the page matter, because it is the one format Notion says carries page and block comments. It is not an input this tool reads, so copy the text you need out of it.
Full-page databases are the tricky part. Notion exports them as a CSV file with a Markdown file for each row’s page. If the numbers you want to present live in a database, either export the page that shows the database view as PDF, which keeps the visible rows, or open the CSV and paste the rows that matter alongside the page text. The deck can only use the figures you hand it, and it will not invent the ones you leave out.
Notion Presentation mode versus a Google Slides deck
Notion added its own Presentation mode, and it is worth knowing exactly what it does before you pay for anything. Notion’s help page says it turns a page into a fullscreen presentation, using divider blocks to split the page into slides, with the page title and icon as the title slide. It is available on the Plus, Business and Enterprise plans, on desktop and web only, and it is marked beta.
The same page lists what it does not do. Speaker notes are not supported, shareable presentation links are not supported, links do not work while presenting and page covers do not show on the title slide. There is no export from the mode. For an internal stand-up where everyone already has the page open, that is fine. For a client meeting, a board pack or a leadership review where people expect a file they can keep, forward and comment on, you still need a deck. That is the gap this page is about.
Notion to Google Slides with extensions, Zapier and Wunderpresentation
Three kinds of tools show up when you search for this, and they solve different problems.
Browser extensions such as Presentation Mode for Notion present the page in your browser, much like Notion’s own mode with extra polish. Its Pro plan, at 5.99 euros a month, 29.99 euros a year or 49.99 euros once, adds presenter view, a brand kit and PDF export. The output is still a presentation of the page or a PDF, not an editable Google Slides file.
Automation platforms such as Zapier connect the two apps, and their Google Slides action is Create Presentation From Template: it copies a Slides template and replaces placeholder variables with values from Notion. That is a good fit when the deck is a form, such as a weekly status deck where the same five fields change. It does not read a page of prose and decide what the slides should say.
Wunderpresentation is the closest to a true Notion slide tool. It turns Notion pages into presentations, its site says you can export to PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides, and its Business plan is $4 per user per month billed annually. If your team writes pages specifically to be presented and wants the slides to stay tied to Notion, it is a sensible, cheap choice. Where DocSlide differs is the job: it takes a page written to be read, such as a research doc, a project brief or a quarterly write-up, and writes the deck a room needs from it, with the long explanation moved into speaker notes rather than onto the slide.
What carries over from a Notion page and what does not
Comes across: headings, paragraphs, bullet and numbered lists, toggle content once it is in the export, simple tables and every number written in the text. These become slide titles, short slide copy, editable figures and speaker notes.
Does not come across: images, embedded files and videos, synced blocks you did not expand, linked database views and the contents of subpages you only linked to. A link to another Notion page arrives as its title, not its content. If the story runs across several pages, export them as one PDF with the parent page or paste them together in the order you want to present them.
Who converts Notion pages into Google Slides
Product managers whose PRDs, discovery notes and launch plans live in Notion and whose company reviews run in Google Workspace. Consultants and agency leads who keep a Notion workspace per client and send the client a Slides deck they can comment on. Operations and finance leads who write the monthly business review in Notion and present it to a leadership team that lives in Drive. The writing is already done in every case. What is missing is the ten to fifteen slides that turn it into a recommendation, built in the format the room uses.
For the matching use cases, see QBR presentation decks and product launch presentations. If your audience is on PowerPoint rather than Google, Notion to PowerPoint covers the same job with the .pptx kept as is. Teams moving from other tools will find Obsidian to PowerPoint and Google Docs to Slides useful, and a side by side of the Notion presentation tools is in Notion presentation extension or a real slide deck.
How much does it cost to convert Notion to Google Slides?
Notion’s Presentation mode comes with the Plus plan and above. Zapier and the browser extensions have their own plans. DocSlide Solo is $30 per month billed yearly ($60 month to month) and Team is $89.50 per month billed yearly, one subscription with members invited by email, and no watermark on any plan. Google Slides itself costs nothing extra if your company already has Google Workspace. If you present a Notion page twice a year, copy and paste by hand. If you turn Notion docs into decks every week, the subscription costs less than the hours.
Limits to know before you upload
One file per upload, PDF or .docx, up to 20 MB, or pasted text of at least a couple of paragraphs. The deck is built from roughly the first 60,000 characters, about 14 pages of dense text. The uploaded file is deleted once the deck is built. There are no chart objects: figures arrive as editable text, and a chart you need is quicker to insert in Google Slides from the numbers on the slide. To apply your company theme, open the deck in Google Slides and import the theme from your template file, or apply your .potx in PowerPoint before you move the deck to Drive. For a PDF from anywhere else, the general PDF to Google Slides page applies.
