Notion to PowerPoint: Turn Your Notion Docs Into Editable Slide Decks
Export your Notion page and Docslide turns it into a designed PowerPoint deck: headings become slides, Notion tables become editable charts, and the detail moves into speaker notes. Native .pptx and Google Slides, fully editable.

In short
Notion has no built-in export to PowerPoint, so the reliable way to turn a Notion doc into a presentation is to export the page and rebuild it as a deck. In Notion, use the three-dot menu to export the page as Markdown and CSV, PDF, or HTML, then upload that file to Docslide. Markdown is the format to pick, because it keeps your heading structure as text and writes full-page databases out as CSV, which is what lets the numbers come back as editable charts rather than pictures. Docslide reads the heading structure, maps each section to slides, rebuilds your Notion tables and databases as native editable PowerPoint charts, and moves the body text into speaker notes with source references. You review the extracted outline before generation, so every slide traces back to a section of your Notion page and nothing is invented. The export is a real .pptx with editable text boxes and master-slide theming, plus a Google Slides version, watermark-free on every plan from $15 per month. That beats copy-pasting blocks into blank slides, which strips your formatting and turns a structured doc into a wall of text. Docslide converts and designs; it does not fabricate. Your Notion content, your numbers, in a deck you own.

What you get
Notion to PowerPoint, done the document-first way
Works around Notion's missing export
Notion cannot export to .pptx on its own. Export the page as Markdown, PDF, or Word, and Docslide rebuilds it as a designed, editable PowerPoint deck.
Your doc structure survives the move
Toggle headings and sections map to slides in order, so a long Notion page becomes a structured deck instead of a stripped block dump.
Notion tables become editable charts
Tables and simple databases are rebuilt as native PowerPoint charts with your real numbers, not pasted screenshots you cannot update.
Detail moves to the speaker notes
The paragraphs under each heading become speaker notes with source references, so slides stay clean and you keep a talk track.
How it works
From your document to a finished deck, in four steps
Export your Notion page
In Notion, open the page menu and export as Markdown, PDF, or Word. That single file carries the headings, text, and tables Docslide needs.
Upload it to Docslide
Drop the exported file in. Docslide reads the structure and shows you the outline it found.
Review and build
Approve which sections become slides, then Docslide designs the layouts, rebuilds tables as charts, and writes speaker notes.
Export to PowerPoint or Google Slides
Download a native .pptx with editable text and charts, or send it to Google Slides. Watermark-free on every plan.

Which Notion export to pick, and what each one carries into a deck
Notion offers several export formats and they are not interchangeable for this purpose. The format you choose decides whether your database tables arrive as data a converter can rebuild into charts, or as pictures of tables. One change worth knowing about before you build a routine on it: Notion has said the option to export workspace content as PDF is going away, rolled out gradually through August 31, 2026.
| Notion export format | What it carries | Tables and databases | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Markdown & CSV | Clean heading hierarchy as plain text, with each full-page database written out as a CSV and Markdown files for subpages | Preserved as real data, which is what lets a converter rebuild them as native chart objects | The best default. Structure and numbers both survive, and the files are small and easy to check before you upload |
| The page as it looked, with layout and images baked in | Rendered as a picture of a table | A visual record, or when the page layout itself is the point. Weakest choice if the numbers need to stay editable. Notion also documents that custom emojis do not appear in PDF exports | |
| HTML | Full structure plus, uniquely, comments at both page and block level | Preserved as real HTML table markup | Review-heavy pages where the discussion in the comments matters as much as the content |
| Workspace-wide export | Everything you have access to, as HTML, Markdown, or CSV | Preserved, in bulk | Migrations and archives, not deck building. Notion documents that these can take up to 30 hours to process and that the download link expires after 7 days |
| Copy and paste into the editor | Whatever the clipboard carried, usually text without reliable heading levels | Usually lost, or pasted as loose text | A short page when you cannot be bothered to export. Expect to rebuild the outline by hand |

Because you export the Notion page first, this follows the same flow as when you convert a Word doc to PowerPoint or convert a PDF to PowerPoint, depending on which export format you pick. Notion databases and tables become editable charts, and if your team lives in Google, Docslide can deliver the same deck as editable Google Slides. Our guide on how to export Notion to PowerPoint walks through the export step by step. Teams on Atlassian rather than Notion hit the same export-first constraint, covered on Confluence to PowerPoint.
Questions
Notion to PowerPoint: the questions people actually ask
Can you export Notion to PowerPoint?
No. Notion exports to PDF, HTML, and Markdown and CSV, and PowerPoint is not among them. There is no .pptx option on any plan. The practical route is exporting the page to PDF or Markdown and converting that file into slides.
What formats does Notion export to?
Notion exports HTML, Markdown, and CSV on any plan including the free tier. PDF export of a workspace is restricted to Business and Enterprise plans. Including subpages in a PDF export also requires Business or Enterprise, and produces a zip of nested PDFs plus asset folders.
How do I turn a Notion page into a presentation?
Export the page as PDF or Markdown, then convert that export into slides. Notion headings map cleanly onto slide structure, so a page with a clear H1 and H2 hierarchy converts well. Toggle lists and synced blocks flatten on export, so check those sections before presenting.
Is there a Notion PowerPoint integration?
Notion ships no first-party PowerPoint integration or add-in. Marketplace and third-party tools mostly render Notion pages as web-based slideshows rather than producing an editable .pptx file, which is a different thing if your audience expects a PowerPoint attachment.
Do Notion databases export usefully for slides?
Databases export as CSV, which is exactly what you want for charts. A board or table view exports the rows behind it, so counts by status or owner can be rebuilt as native chart objects rather than screenshotted. Filters applied to the view carry through to the export.
Why does my Notion export lose formatting?
Callouts, toggles, synced blocks, and embeds have no direct equivalent in Markdown or PDF, so they flatten to plain text or disappear. Columns collapse into stacked blocks. Export early and check the result rather than discovering it while building the deck.
