Privacy Policy
Effective July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Docslide ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or use our AI presentation maker. We aim to be plain and honest about what we do with data. Docslide converts the documents you already wrote into slide decks; it works on your content, so how we handle that content is the most important part of this policy.
Information we collect
When you sign up we collect your email address and a confirmation code we send to verify it, along with the page or button you signed up from (the signup source). If you contact us, we collect your name, email, and message. We also collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the page that referred you, along with any UTM parameters in the link you arrived from, and we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used.
Documents you upload
When you use Docslide to build a deck, we process the document you upload or the text you paste (its sections, numbers, and tables) solely to extract the outline, generate the slides and charts, and produce the export. Your documents are deleted after processing. They are never used to train AI models, never shared with other users, and never published. Because board reports, client proposals, and unreleased financials are the normal input for Docslide, we treat every uploaded document as confidential by default. Any sample documents, decks, or figures shown on this site are illustrative only. All figures are in US dollars.
How we use information
- To confirm your email address and manage your access.
- To convert the documents you upload into decks and deliver your exports.
- To respond to your messages and provide support.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the site and product (for example, email delivery, AI and infrastructure providers, and analytics), under contracts that require them to protect it, or where required by law. Providers that process document content during conversion are contractually barred from retaining it or using it for training.
Data retention
Uploaded documents are deleted after processing. Account and contact information is kept for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. Because the documents people convert often contain sensitive business information, we treat document content as sensitive. Enterprise plans add SSO, a security review, and a DPA.
Your content stays yours
Docslide converts and designs; it does not fabricate. The decks generated from your documents belong to you, and we claim no rights over your documents or your decks. The deck is a first draft you review, approve, and edit in PowerPoint or Google Slides; Docslide does not guarantee any specific outcome from any presentation.
Your choices
You can access, correct, or delete your information, and you can opt out of non-essential email at any time. To make a request, email [email protected].
